This is the belief of Adi Hassan AlFardan, the founder of this prestigious brand, who continues the path paved by his father and grandfather. Join us as we delve into the details of the world of luxury jewellery, its unique features, and its mysterious secrets.
How do you introduce yourself? What are the things that have been passed down in your family from generation to generation?

Adi Hassan AlFardan, a jeweler... Jewellery making has been passed down from generation to generation. It started with my grandfather, a "pearl merchant" who traded one of the largest collections of natural Gulf pearls in the world. My father continued the journey, and this profession has been ingrained in our family as a noble craft and art. It is a great love, a deep passion for creating unique and beautiful pieces that suit today's generation and future ones—precious pieces that last forever. Today, we continue our journey with the same style and dedication.
What are the most important elements you consider when crafting Jewellery?

One of the most important elements in the world of Jewellery is knowledge of gemstones and crafting, along with great passion and love. In the end, jewellery is an art, and every artist has their own unique touch, whether it comes from within or is inherited. In our world, this unique touch is a combination of both. We also combine the energies we dedicate to crafting precious jewels, starting from the design phase and moving to the execution phase, to finally create a piece that suits today's refined generation.
List the gemstones you work with to create the beautiful pieces you pride yourselves on today.

Our work in Jewellery crafting focuses on designing precious and unique pieces that suit women and last for future generations to inherit. Therefore, we focus on five main gemstones. We start with natural pearls, for which our family is famous, driven by our deep passion due to its ancient place in human history. It is mentioned throughout history, in religions, and six times in the Quran. Then we move to diamonds, every woman's love, closely associated with joyous occasions like engagements and weddings. Diamonds are made of carbon, taking billions of years to form, and are considered the king of gemstones today. People desire and love them for their brilliance. We work with the finest types, sometimes with rare colored, blue, red, and pink diamonds. Then, there's green emerald, known for its ancient history and significance, symbolizing goodness and paradise in Islam and Arab cultures. Next is sapphire, with its various shades and types. The stronger the color, the more we love it, particularly the highly demanded and valued blue sapphire, tied closely to history and the color of the sky and sea. Lastly, red ruby, distinguished by its strong color that attracts the eye, is in high demand. The "pigeon blood" color is the most prominent and historically sought after.
Do you follow any sustainable practices in your crafting process? If yes, how?

When collecting gemstones, the foundations must be ethical: choosing the right stones with known sources and extraction methods. We believe in energy, and the more beautiful the energy of the stone, the more it reflects on the Jewellery, which is associated with beauty, joy, and art. Therefore, we always ensure that all pieces are beautiful, high-quality, and ethically sourced.
Tell us about a Jewellery piece story that remains etched in your mind.

We have many stories with gemstones, as they are highly sought after but not always available. I recall our story with blue sapphire at the beginning of our journey when we founded the company. I had a large, rare blue sapphire stone that I was very proud of and loved deeply. It was extraordinarily rare and large. Thanks to this, royal blue became our signature color, symbolizing the stone we began working with in 2013. At that time, I visited a distinguished client well-versed in the world of Jewellery. She appreciated and understood gemstones, and she was immediately captivated by this stone as if it was destined for her. Despite it being a raw, unworked stone, she decided to acquire it at any cost. With great joy, love, and passion, we said it must be her fate. Over the years, as auctions started, we learned that its value had increased three or four times its original worth, making us decide to exchange it, knowing that a stone with the same color, size, and specifications was unavailable. We sometimes believe that a stone is destined for a particular person, designed for them. Our goal is to craft these rare stones to suit women. What I always take pride in is that the client gives me the freedom to create a unique, beautiful piece designed specifically for her.
How do you describe your experience in the Jewellery world over these long years of work? Which piece is dearest to your heart?

I have worked for a long time in the Jewellery world, traveled extensively to the West, visited France and Place Vendôme, and met with major companies to learn the art and techniques of Jewellery making. I also visited New York to delve deeper into the world of gemstones and Hong Kong to visit factories and learn the precise art of gemstone setting. Additionally, I went to Italy to learn the craft of Jewellery making and the professionalism of handmade work. Over the years we established our name, I discovered that Jewellery has its own unique world, entity, and respect, with each piece designed for a specific and unique woman.

Now, let me share a unique, luxurious, and royal piece: the tiara. This diamond tiara took a long time to gather and design its stones to suit the wearer on special occasions. This piece, which I adore, symbolizes boldness, prestige, beauty, elegance, and sophistication. Its distinctive design symbolizes the stars.
